Sony Ericsson Walkman Phones

Ericsson W995

During the recent years Sony Ericsson has been releasing some really good phones under the Walkman range but they have not successfully broken through in the market. However since the advent of the touchscreen cell phones Sony Ericsson has been releasing some really good models. In the following article we will be having a look at the 3 interesting phones from Sony Ericsson that are interesting to consider.

The first phone to consider is the W995, a device that was released in May 2009. Fitted with a 2.6 inch display the phone provides a rather smooth operation even if it is smaller than the average size of screen available today. However the phone has strength in other areas. As a Walkman phone, the W995 comes with the Shake control and SensMe feature to provide a complete user experience. This places the phone at the top of the heap in the entertainment category. Another strength of the phone lies in its 8 MP camera providing users with some crisp pictures. Definitely recommended for those looking for a Walkman phone.

Ericsson Satio

The Satio is another great phone from Sony Ericsson. Fitted with a 3.5 inch touchscreen display the phone provides a rather intuitive control. The main strength of the phone lies in its 12 MP camera which makes it a real challenger to the other phones and even cameras in the market. The device is fitted with a LED and xenon flash to make sure that picture is taken in the best condition. In terms of connectivity the Satio is fitted with both a Wi-Fi connection and 3G connection. The downside however is the lack of power from the flash which really undermines the phone positioning in the top-of-the-range camera segment.

Xperia X10

The Xperia X10 is a really great phone that is being launch in early 2010. This Sony Ericsson cellphone is based on Google’s operating system, Android and attempts to build on the success of the Xperia series. In terms of display the XPERIA X10 comes with a 4 inch touchscreen display ensuring some great user comfort. When it comes to connectivity the phone boast a Wi-Fi connection and 3G to make sure you stay connected wherever you are. You will also have access to a built-in GPS receiver to guide you during your outings. In my opinion this is a phone that is worth waiting.
