Design and Features:
Lenovo N500 makes use of Intel Celeron 2 GHz processor with 667 MHz of data bus rate. It uses the Intel GL40 Express chipset and L2 cache of size 1 MB. This notebook has 2 x 2GB DDR3 RAM. It has a wide screen display with good resolution.
The Lenovo 3000 N500 has 160GB – Serial ATA hard disk drive with 5400 rpm and it is portable as well. The notebook has 4 in 1 card reader and SATA storage controller. It has a 15.4 inch TFT display type with 1280 x 800 resolutions and a vibrant view. It uses sound card as the audio output and microphone as audio input. The Lenovo 3000 N500 has high definition audio output .It also supports flash memory cards such as Memory Stick, Multimedia Card, SD Memory Card, and Memory Stick Pro.
It has an advanced 1.3 MP Camera with sensor resolution .It uses 6-cell Lithium polymer laptop battery . The good:
The Lenovo 3000 N500 is easy to upgrade hardware and has an express card slot. It has a reasonable battery life at 3+ hours. It also has built in 1.3MP camera and mic. The Processor Speed is very high. It supports maximum memory of 4GB. This design is very good for a regular home notebook. The high quality products present in this system and the sleek outer design also add to its value.
The bad:
Lenovo software slows down the computer and the volume buttons are very difficult to use. It accepts DDR2 RAM only up to 667 MHz speed.
